Server Cleanup 2 (SC 2) is a revamped version of Server Cleanup that works with MacOS X Server 10.3 & 10.4. Unlike Server Cleanup 1, SC 2 allows you to choose users individually, by group, or by folder/share. It scans your network directory system and presents you with a list of users, groups or shares allowing you to choose one, two or more, or all of them to enact the changes chosen.

SC 2 allows you to repair permissions on every selected home folder, change group ownership and permissions, copy files out, redirect folders, change some features and (thou not shown in the screenshot above) remove files from selected home folders.

Server Cleanup has the ability to create your own options via the Advanced mode tab. If you can figure out a command line equivalent to what you want to be able to do, the Advanced tab will allow you to do it.

The program can also be used to generate some reports based on the user’s home folder. Currently, it can generate a disk usage report.

SC 2 does NOT work with MacOS X Server 10.1 or 10.2, since it relies on technologies not released until 10.3.
